NSF S-STEM NECST Scholarship Program

Eligibility Requirements

To apply, apply to the Graduate Program at Montclair State University and email Dr. Thomas Marlowe (thomas.marlowe@shu.edu) at Seton Hall or Dr. Katherine Herbert (herbertk@mail.montclair.edu) at Montclair State.

Requirements for Program:

• Have a 3.0 gpa in Pre-­Calculus or a similar measure of potential in mathematics
• Be a US citizen, US national, refugee alien or permanent resident
• Be enrolled or enrolling fulltime in an MSU MS in Computer Science program
• Be eligible for Financial Aid (determined by the Office of Financial Aid)

Helpful Deciding Factors:

• Successful completion of activities like undergraduate research (in any field)
• Internships
• Campus Activities
• Appropriate professional work experience as judged by the NECST program committee
